Shadow Rail Connector (Level) Instructions
The Shadow Rail Connector is the first hidden fastener railing connector.
These instructions are full of great illustrations and measurement details for a perfect installation every time
When your craftsmanship is on display, use the slim, elegant Shadow Rail and your deck will stand out above all the rest.
Why have a bigger, more visible bracket with fasteners showing when you can get rid of all that excess material? Apply a dark stain or paint over the Shadow Rail and it looks like the 2x4 rail is "growing" right out of the post.
The Shadow Rail Connector is made of the highest quality USA polycarbonate. This means you have a connector that can handle the UV rays and extreme temperatures that Mother Nature regularly dishes out.
The Shadow Rail Connector is all about precision. It has been designed by Titan's sharpest engineering minds for tolerances of up to 1/10,000 of an inch.
Although you will never know the level of precision just by looking at them, you sure will feel it when you slide the connectors together. There's lots of play at the start to allow the parts to catch and align. Then it just gets tighter and tighter until you feel it lock.
Andrew used our white Level and Stair Shadow Rail Connectors to pair perfectly with his lakeside deck and composite post sleeves.
Made from durable UV protected USA poly carbonate, they will not only handle the extreme weather from season to season but they conceal the screws inside the connectors for a truly professional appearance.
The rail connectors require precise cuts in order for the connection to be sure(especially with 45 degree cuts)and true but, they work well and add a nice touch to the look of the Deck as well as make it easy to change the wood if need be. :o)
Great way to fasten rails to post
I used these to fasten cedar rails to posts wrapped in cedar for my indoor screen porch. The cedar is stained and I didn’t want to detract from the overall appearance and these did a fabulous job to meet my goal. My only negative comments is the screw quality needs to be improved (I had some screws where the metal was comprised when screwing them in). Outside of that - I will not hesitate to purchase again.
